Ancient History et Cetera
Duncan is commissioned regularly to write and illustrate articles for print and online media. The result is a rich and eclectic mix of subject matter, with an emphasis on locations off the beaten track. Print pieces have included Parisian Prayers and A Resort in Ruins for Hidden Europe magazine, and Curious Cities and Intrepid Travellers for Timeless Travels. Online articles have been written for World History Encyclopedia and Bradt Guides. Duncan has also authored a series called The Stones of Vienna revealing the unsung built heritage of the Austrian capital, and another celebrating half a dozen British Forgotten Travellers.
